Verizon Wireless Expands Michigan Reach: Wireless Week, 8/5
Verizon Wireless has snapped up additional spectrum licenses in Michigan in an effort to further expand its footprint there. In its newly revealed deal with Lite Wave Communications, Verizon Wireless purchased three licenses in Michigan. Specifically, the deal involves an E Block PCS license covering the cities of Alpena and Petoskey and an F Block PCS license for Traverse City. The licenses cover 440,000 POPs, according to Lite Wave.
